I love teaching plays. There is so much room for fun. Whether you’re doing read-alouds with great props, having students write scripts of their own, or working on a performance project, there are a lot of opportunities for dynamic lessons and engagement.
This week’s podcast is about my favorite performance project – both as a student and as a teacher. I call it the Progressive Performance, and it is infinitely adaptable to any play, any level.
I hope this episode is going to help you empower your students to dive into theater with their arms wide open. You can listen below, or on iTunes, Blubrry, or Stitcher.
