Episode 039: Using “The Ideal Week” to cut Overwhelm
Finding time for everything as a busy teacher is one of the biggest struggles. It’s easy to fall into a rut where something you really want to do each week gets squeezed out.
Whether it’s time to brainstorm new and fresh curriculum, time to make your classroom the kind of creative space you want it to be, or time for the self care you simply have to have to keep going and enjoy your work, this episode is about reclaiming time for what is getting squeezed out. It’s about cutting overwhelm and feeling like your priorities are clear.
For me, my schedule finally got clear when I began using a system called the ideal week. So that’s the system I’m going to share with you today.
I hope this episode is going to help make your teaching and your life more balanced and creative, by giving you a tool that will help you stay on top of what matters to you. You can listen below, or on iTunes, Blubrry, or Stitcher.
